In June 2008 the article DeepaMehta -- Another Computer is Possible by DeepaMehta co-founder Jörg Richter and Dr. Jurij Poelchau was published in Emerging Technologies for Semantic Work Environments. The book is edited by Jörg Rech, Björn Decker, and Eric Ras, Fraunhofer Institute for Experimental Software Engineering (IESE).

After 3 and 1/2 years of work, 7 beta releases, 5 weeks after schedule, at Aug 7, 2020 DMX 5.0 has finally arrived.
The focus of this final milestone was on improving the DMX development experience. The APIs are consolidated, and a DMX Developer Guide is available, as well as API docs. DMX 5.0-beta-4 is released at July 22, 2019. Two and a half years in the making of DMX (formerly "DeepaMehta 5") this is the first release that provides Data Guarantee.
