On November 1, 2008 DeepaMehta is presented at the Ubuntu 8.10 "Intrepid Ibex" Release Party. The party takes place at the Berlin hackerspace c-base and begins at 4 p.m. The DeepaMehta presentation is scheduled for 6 p.m.
After 3 and 1/2 years of work, 7 beta releases, 5 weeks after schedule, at Aug 7, 2020 DMX 5.0 has finally arrived.
The focus of this final milestone was on improving the DMX development experience. The APIs are consolidated, and a DMX Developer Guide is available, as well as API docs.
